Gastrobar Barbacoa, gelegen in een fraai pand in het centrum van Maasmechelen, biedt een sfeervol overdekt buitenterras en een modern interieur. De naam verwijst naar de houtskooloven in de keuken, waarmee gerechten een extra smaakdimensie krijgen. Vooraf vitello tonnato en gebakken kikkerbillen met groene kruiden, gevolgd door pulpo van de grill met tomaat en aardappeltjes in de oven alsook gegrilde entrecote met frietjes.
