Kastaar is gevestigd in een herenwoning en voorzien van een sober maar net en gezellig interieur. Chef Steven Groeninck serveert klassiek en eigentijds werk. Coquilles zijn keurig gebakken en combineert hij met zwarte pens, aardpeer en truffelsaus. Bij cheesecake met chocolade van São Tomé komt vers gedraaid vanille-ijs en structuren van peer en amandelen.
