Langs de Koninklijke Baan in Sint-Idesbald serveert chef Cédric Sorton met zijn team een eigentijdse keuken die verfijning koppelt aan durf. Bouchot mosselen komen in een frisse curryjus met Thaise basilicum en combava, daarnaast volgen krab en kreeft met courgetterisotto en romige saffraansaus met lookblaadjes. Filet mignon van Ibérico met korst van chimichurri, vergezeld door aubergine en gegrilde courgette met een fris condiment van tamarillo. Een krachtige bisque van kreeft brengt het geheel samen. Tot slot volgt een nagerecht rond abrikoos, feta en witte chocolade.
