Bij chef Gianni Di Lernia in Ham draait alles om warmte en eenvoud. Samen met zijn echtgenote ontvangt hij gasten in een stijlvol gerenoveerd pand met een zonnig terras. De chef kookt er op z’n Italiaans: met een paar zorgvuldig gekozen ingrediënten die hun volle kracht pas tonen op het bord. Carpaccio van geelvintonijn komt met olijfolie, artisjok, tomaat en zeezout. Daarna volgt zesrib van Holstein met cœur de bœuf en gebakken aardappelen. Een panna cotta met vanille sluit de maaltijd aangenaam af.
